Glass

So i have started reading the second book after crank. Its called Glass. It is really good and disappointing after you start it. Its very interesting how quick you can get addicted to meth. For kristina it was like the first time she snorted her first line she was an addict of meth.  There is a great person deep down in Bree named Kristina and you can tell she wants to come out and do the right thing but Bree is so much more powerful and controlling that she is. the second book you can really feel that she wants to come out n do the right thing. We can read what she is feeling and wants to do. When i first started reading Crank i honestly started to regret buying it and reading it. Only because how it is wrote in the form of poetry. But as i went on and kept reading i got into the book and didnt want to put it down for anything. Reading these books makes you think alot about what could happen to you even when you try a drug like meth, all it takes is one line or one shoot up and hit and you could be an addict just like that. Reading about something that is true life and what really happens when your on it and how you feel, all you can think is how do people like that make it through with every day life? Such with sleeping and being hungry. Bree cant control herself with crank and its sad that she just had a life changing thing happen to her and she stayed away from it for so long until she got that urge for it like she always did before. You may feel like you are not addicted because you havent dont it in so long until that day when you get the craving for it. Reading these books will make you realize so much and teaches you so much about life and what could happen to you if you make bad choices. these books are amazing!!

The High Road

So I have been reading Crank and the more i have been reading it the better I have been understanding about the whole alter-ego thing with kristina/bree. It was very confusing in the beginnging to understand the situation of it but as you read on you start to catch the drift of things and how everything is suppose to be. Basically kristina is a goody-goody who doesnt do anything wrong, wears sophisticated clothing, would never be rude, and definately not say some of the things that bree says to her parents. Bree is her alter ego that does what she wants. She took the high road into something that may be impossible to get out of. Bree makes all the choices and we just hope that kristina comes through and starts standing up to bree and learn how to take control again of her life. If you read ever think about reading it, its something (well this is what i feel) that you should be prepared for before reading. Its very detailed, i mean verrry detailed. It doesnt beat around the bush about what they are saying, the text gives you full on detail. It is also very sad. The part i read last week was actually sad and made me tear up a little (not going to lie). But it so real and you know ive never really had any information on "crank" the drug until i started reading this story and i never really knew what it was and how you did and the affects it has on you. Its crazy that anyone would want that for their life and especially when you take that high road its hard to get back down to the road you were on. So lets just pray kristina breaks out of the bree phase and back on the road of "life" again.

Crank

So i finished reading the other daughter. It took me a little bit to find the book i wanted to read next. I heard good things about crank and decided that i mine as well read it. So far its a really good book. I'm a little confused though about the whole alter ego Bree. Some things in the book i dont really understand. It's so cool to read because its based on a true story and the author writing the book her daughter went through the same thing and thats where she is basing her story called crank off of. It makes you think twice about decisions you make and what happens if you were ever to try the monster. The book opens your eyes and makes you so happy about the person you are and that you have never made that decision to jepordize you life. Its tear jerking reading the book. How everything happened and how it became the way it did is really sad. Their is also 2 other books that go along with crank that continue on with the story and i hope to read them if i enjoy this book.

mystery thriller

As i have been posting about the book I was reading called the Other Daughter, I finally finished it about a week ago or so. All I can say is wow. That was an awesome book. The funny thing is in the whole book its so hard to make even a prediction of the book only because there is so many options you can think of. Is like that because in the end your predictions or your thoughts are blown out of the water and you cant believe what everything is or how everything happened. I was actually sad that i was finished with the book because it was so good and i loved reading it. It's like a mystery and the characters play it so well in the book, its hard to tell who they really are. This should definately be added to the novel list on blackboard. I would think alot of people might just actually give this book a chance. Its really a book you might not want to put down. Over all it was a really good book, just like the book Liar was. (just saying I made many predictions in the book the other daughter and was not right on them at all!)

Read Read Read!

I'm pretty excited that were reading a different book. I just got this reading plan and its funny because im just about done with the book that im reading for the semester. I've told you a little bit about the book already in some of my older posts here on my blog. Let me just tell you, im going to tell everyone that they need to read it and it should definately be put on the reading list in the class. It's the kind of book that you dont want to put down. It's heart throbbing and mind bottling. I'm in the best part of the book where everything is coming together and i predicted alot of things but you would of never thought about the truth of the book when it comes out. It's really bothering me because I so predicted wrong in many ways. It's an awesome book and im telling everyone about it because im sure everyone would like this book. I would consider it a type of mystery. So if you ever get a chance you should definately read the book. You wont regret it. I promise!

telling the truth?

It's the funniest thing. My best friend kept bothering me about letting her read the book liar. I always talked about it to her but never told the secret or anything big about the book. Si i let her read it this week and she got done with it in one day. She sent me a text saying,"is she really a freaking werewolf and did she really just kill zach?" So i called her and told her you need to read further into the book to find out more. She was not happy about the secret she was irritated that the secret was she was a werewolf. I thought it was funny. When she finished the book she called me just complaining and really bothered. She said she dont believe shes really a werewolf because she is a liar. But i told her that she really was but she wasnt having it i guess. She was confused about the parts of the ending but i wont say what about because some people are still reading and i dont want to give anything away. But the book was great. It took me awhile to believe anything she said but i actually believe her even though she lied to me in the book. The book was about her being a liar and always lying because she thought if she told the truth nobody would believe the truth. Thats why she lied because everyone believed her lies. She was right though. nobody would believe her if she said she was a wolf. But i believe her.

Other Daughter

So I'm reading this new book called the Other Daughter. Ever since I got my nook I just to read read read. So i was looking through books on it and came across this book. Just reading the back I was like I am definately reading this when I'm done with Liar. So i downloaded the book and got to reading it. All i can say is if you ever feel like reading a book definately read this one. I'm on like the sixth chapter and dont want to put it down. Its basically about this girl who got abandoned at a hospital when she was nine. She doesnt remember anything about her life from the time she was abandoned to the day she was born. So she has no memory. She ends up getting adopted and brought into a wealthy, and loving family. But there is something about her past that soon the truth comes out. There is more to the story but i dont really want to give it away so you might just have to read it. You definately wont regret reading this book. I'm not even done with it or even close but from what i have read its really really good. See I use to love reading when i was in grade school then after that i hated reading. Until i came to this class. After reading Liar, I just want to read now. If you choose a good book you will love reading. So definately check out that book, I'd never lie!! haha
